Training for Parents and Teachers

Interested to learn our unique Story Quest methodology? We train parents and teachers to tell stories that both engage and empower children.


The training covers:

  • - the art of oral storytelling in a small group setting
  • - dramatic read alouds and choice of picture books
  • - using stories to build thinking and communication skills in children

The format is hybrid comprising:

  • - pre-recorded video content for you to watch at your convenience
  • - written and video assignments that you email or message to us
  • - one-on-one online meets with our trainer to ask questions and get feedback

Since the training is conducted entirely online, no travel is necessary. You will need a picture book as an anchor for your training. The final assignment involves a live session with children.


On successful completion, you are all set to regale the children in your community with stories. You may choose to function as an independent storyteller or connect with us to explore our Curriculum Support offering.


This option also works best for aware parents looking to engage their own child with stories.


Please note: the training is self paced which means you can go as fast or as slow as you please; however we strongly recommend you train for an hour everyday to finish within 2 weeks.


The training fee is INR 6000.

Curriculum Support

Want to experience the joy of sharing stories without the hassle of mind-numbing research?

Enjoy the convenience of tried-and-tested, age-appropriate, easy-to-follow lesson plans with our Curriculum Support offering.


Each lesson plan is built around a specific story and includes:

  • - a fun ice-breaker to energise the children
  • - tips to bring alive your story telling or reading
  • - follow-up questions to get the children thinking
  • - joyful activities to reinforce story-based learning

You may use our lesson plans to open your own story class (in collaboration with Little Readers’ Nook) or incorporate Little Readers’ Nook curriculum in your existing classes.


Please note: this plan is available ONLY to select skilled individuals who have successfully completed their training with us.

Training for Teachers and Parents

We train teachers and parents in the art of storytelling, read-aloud and the use of stories to engage, educate and empower little children. You can use the training to work with your own child or children around you.

Select interested trainees are invited to take up our curriculum and start their own story nook in their immediate neighbourhood. Please note this is an entrepreneurship opportunity with a modest investment. We do NOT offer employment.
